Virago Ambassadors 2026
Meet our Ambassadors
We are delighted to introduce you to our 2026 Virago Ambassadors – these six individuals will be showcasing a collection of Virago titles and sharing their personal favourites. Perfect reading inspiration.
My name is Natalie, and I currently live in the little island of Jersey, which is a British crown dependency just off the coast of France. I work in archives and I’m a cat mum to Cleo. Outside of my day job, I am a writer and keen reader, with a special interest in literary fiction and modern classics.
Zeynep is originally from Istanbul and has been living in London for the past seven years. After studying History of Art, she now works in printing for children’s books. In 2024, she was named the Women’s Prize Discoveries Scholar. She is working on her debut novel.
Ross Kelly is an Irish writer and bookseller living in London. He reviews books at @readsbyross. He’s working on his debut novel and is perpetually waiting for a Spice Girls reunion tour.

Louise Baillache (@louus_library) is a bookish content creator who has created a community of readers over the past 6 years. Lou highlights literary fiction, horror and anything translated, alongside her life in London through reviews and recommendations. She balances her love for reading alongside a career in an NGO, raising money for refugees. She also co runs a London bookclub called Read The Room.

Best friends Corey & Oliver set up @booksand_co in 2020, with a desire to share their love of reading diverse, marginalised and LGBTQ+ focused reads. Although Corey lives in London and Oliver in Cardiff, they use the shared space to connect with fellow book lovers and are always searching for the brilliant books that may have gone under the radar. Some of their favourite reads include Small Joys (Elvin James Mensah), What It Means When a Man Falls From The Sky (Lesley Nneka Arimah), A Language of Limbs (Dylin Hardcastle) & There Are Rivers in The Sky (Elif Shafak).
